Carrera Panamericana 2010: The race might be over, but not the sight seeing.

Just today, as I met my good friend Reno Casasola, Crew Chief for the Volvo, Car No. 16, to show him Queretaro downtown, he was on his way from San Miguel de Allende after enjoying some days there. We entered a place to have dinner, when Ralf Behringer and his girlfriend Uli were passing by, they had just enjoyed the day of the dead celebrations in Patzcuaro, and then Thomas Lederberger and Tino Schmidt show up too. A very good and funny coincidence. We all had a grat time, had a drink and parted ways after saying goodbye. Reno was in his way to Mexico City the next day, Ralf and Uli were going to San Miguel de Allende and planning a visit to Teotihuacan, and the rest of the guys were taking a flight back to Germany the next day.

It might be over, but for sure they have taken time to enjoy Mexico a little more. It was great to see them still enjoying Queretaro and other parts of the country.
