Carrera Panamericana 2011: It´s that time of the year!

Its that time of the year when the boys of summer get ready for fall action, but not maybe only in baseball. But fall action for the real men and women that dare to do something out of the ordinary is now in the Mexican State of Oaxaca. Specifically in Huatulco, where the race will start this year. They have dared the routine, the daily activities, even the risks of a not at all safe country, to be in the adventure of a lifetime. For some this is now a yearly tradition, but for others is the first time they will have to stand for their car, their capacity and their strenght, maybe not to win it, but to race it and finish it.

Its that time of the year when La Carrera Panamericana is raced. Only in my country, only in Mexico. And they come from different places just to follow that dream. On friday they will start to move from one city to another. But the work behind have started months or maybe years before that. 

Now, almost all teams and their machines are getting ready for technical review and then qualification for the start up order. The pressure is coming up as the engines heat up too. More than one hundred teams will start, not all will finish, some will be left along the way, but others will dare to finish each day no matter what. Thats the spirit of  la carrera and the thing that pushes them to go and go. The time of the year has come again. Its time to go out and enjoy the roar of their engines in the mexican roads. Its that time of the year to say out loud: VIVA LA CARRERA PANAMERICANA!!!
