Carrera Panamericana 2010: Day 3 - Puebla to Queretaro so much to report about the day

So far, this has been an exciting day. Right now we are in the prizes ceremony for this stageday. We were at the service in Ezequiel Montes, then at stage 9, the first speed section in Queretaro. We ran out of time to go to the autodromo but we went driectly to the Zenea Garden, where day 3 ended. We could meet some of the guys participating in the Carrera. Like Taz Harvey, Bill Beilharz, Jorge Ceballos, Reno Casasola, Chirslana Gregory. Tom Overbaugh, Michael Emery, Michel Jourdain, Emilio Azacarraga, Pepe Cortes, etc.

The coments from them are:

Bill Beilharz and Jorge Ceballos are having problems with the clutch, after the transmission failed on day one, also they have been having problems with the sparkplugs. Mood is low, they are not considering to keep in the race after a lot of the problems. But we will see tomorrow at the start of day 4.

After meeting with Chrislana Gregory in the prizes ceremony, she told me about the possibility of not keeping up in the race if the problem with their car after flying off the road in one of the stages in Hidalgo early in the day has to do with suspension.

Also, other of the teams with a lot of spirit and low profile. Tom Overbaugh and Michael Emery green lincoln from Lucha Libre racing is doing great in the Original Panamericana. And today they obtained second place.

Taz Harvey, a newbie for the Carrera and with his 501 Datsun is fighting up close with the Taxi Perdido and is shortening the global time in his catergory.

Tonight I had a great talk too with Mr Carlson Scheller, a very fine gentleman that told me about the spirit of the race, why they enjoy being here and why they are always willing to come back.

Reno Casasola, one of the mechanics for the blue volvo team has done a great job showing what the spirit of the carrera is all about, Helping his team and others to look for needed parts for the cars to keep participating in the race.

Later in the night I will upload some of the pics from the tons we obtained during the day.
