Carrera Panamericana 2010: Day 5 - Morelia to Guadalajara - News from the site

Some news I got via Facebook today:

From Lucha Libre Racing:
At 13:11 - We had a little excitement in the last speed section. Too much brake and spun out. Couldn't get her started to get back on the road. Got a little help from a truck and are hauling it for the midday service.

At 13:43 - We were hearing a little noise from the right rear wheel. Waiting for the service crew to catch up with a bigger jack to check it out. Discreation over valor, trying not to have a headache for the crew tonight is more important than getting to the stage on time.

Later, also from Lucha Libre Racing:

We heard from Katy the photografer that BIll Beilharz wrecked his Studebaker launching it 30ft! He and the navigator are ok. The navigator of the burned Opel (son of the event sponsor) was in  it with him.

Bill´s car started the race in Morelia after some repairs  where done yesterday in Queretaro. Here is a picture of the car, yesterday morning while parked in the hotel.
